50 Euro-Rs on Sepang F1 Circuit! My best lap time is 3 min 9 seconds. It was the best that i could do with my current setup. Will definately try to better that personal record the next time around when my car is fully done up.

Received a call from James that stock for the Gruppe M carbon fibre air intake was in. Rushed over to Maximus Racing after work to get this done up.

Felt a vast difference in high-end power. The roar of the open-pod sounded really good when the VTEC kicks in. The carbon fibre heat shielding also looks very sleek.

Every single cent spent on this was well worth it. At least for me... :)

Joined another 17 EuroRs from the Accord Club to have breakfast at Yong Peng. This is the 1st time I'm taking my R on the North South Highway! It was really exciting to see and run with another 17 alike performance cars.

Training Fluffy

Fluffy has just completed his training at Dr-Dogs. During the 1st lesson, he was so restless and unmanageable. It was a pain to even try to train him. However, after his 8 lessons, we've managed to learn the skills to better train and communicate our intentions to Fluffy.

was driving home on the CTE today at about 6:30pm. took me only 10 mins to get home, from Suntec to Serangoon! haha. I love the

government. god bless the person who suggested to start the evening ERP. hope you strike 4d or toto.

anyway, to those readers of my lj who decided against using the cte due to the $1 erp charge, here are some suggestions on how to

save a dollar a day and get home 1/2 hr earlier!

1. Don't buy a drink during lunch. Cut down on 1 soft drink and you'll save up to $1.50, 1/2 hr of your time
2. Pump lower grade of petrol. (if you are pumping 98, cut down to 95/ if you are pumping vpower and can't afford the $1, loser.)
3. Give your kids less $1 pocket money everyday, tell them that they get to see daddy/mummy 1/2hr more everyday!
4. Change to a car with a smaller engine capacity (save petrol, so you can afford the extra dollar / if you are driving a mercs or a bmw and can't afford the $1, loser.)

ok.. so it's official. Microsoft finally decided to clamp down on pirated copies of the new Windows Vista by depriving them software updates. to date, i've purchased S$24,000 of microsoft licenses for the 3 companies that I'm servicing. but u know what? microsoft sucks. i mean it. when i format my client's computer, i'll have to activate the damm license again by calling them up and going through their STUPID voice recognition system that is really slow and irritating. Then, speak to a CSO, who ain't that technically competent anyway. total time ~~spent~~ wasted, 20 mins. i then took the opportunity on 1 occasion to bitch to the damm CSO about how i encouraged people to buy original software and how crap the whole activation system is.... "pirated software was so much easier and more convenient to install". The reply i got from her was "uh huh..."

wonder what the pirates are going to come up with this time? it always intrigues me to know how much talent these pirates have, to find a way around everything, everytime...

microsoft, you think u're smart? just remember 一山比一山高. (bill gates will copy and paste the chinese text on my lj into his online chinese-english dictionary and say something like "is this guy stupid or something? what has mountains got to do with microsoft?)

went for my weight management treatment at Arcadia Health Consultancy today and guess what, Kym Ng & Fiona Xie were there to interview charles for the variety show 想得美! (wed, 8pm)

ha ha ha. 2 thumbs up to the hacker. serve them right. i've boycotted their services ever since they bloody sued me for $13k for using one of their maps. i used their map since 2000 where their policy was to link back or acknowledge the copyrights for their map. i did just that, but when they changed their policy, i was not aware of it and was caught red handed by them. no chance to argue with them because i did not have evidence of what they posted up earlier. moreover, they just won a court case with NTUC for 300k at that time. bunch of ******s. sorry i can't scold them here, don't wanna get sued again.

as many would say, "if you cannot make money running a website, suing for copyright infringement could be the better income". wonder if i could get to see their business plan and model. 1st - 5th year, development and R&D (-$300,000), 5th - 6th year, investigation (-$100,000), 6th - 10th year, sue and sue and sue (+$3,000,000) ROI - 7 years, Profits (700%)

They should change their slogan to "USE FIRST, PAY LATER" and get sued by VISA.

Fake Spyware Programs

It's bad enough that spyware and adware are infecting millions of home computers. Now come fake programs that claim to remove these pests for free, but are actually is a disguised spywares or "money extorter" programs!

I'm not sure how, but i think that urgent MASS public education is needed. In a short span of 2 weeks, I already have 4 friends whose computers got hit by these FAKE programs. I managed to salvage 2 of them, but gave up on the other 2 whose engine and algorithms were too ingenious to remove. I've spent a total of 4 evenings and 1 afternoon fixing these 4 computers. I can forsee that a lot more computers are going to be hit pretty soon.

It's no wonder that the computer shop near my place is PACKED with computers. His shop name is PC Clinic. Probably has at least 50 "patients" inside. Right next door, a medical clinic with only 2 people in the waiting area. How ironic.

I must say that Spyware Sheriff is one of the most "mother f***er" fake program I have ever seen in my life. I'm pretty well-versed with Registry Clean-ups and data recovery, but this program, W-O-W.. hijack your computer even before you enter. So many bogus registry entries that you just GIVE UP. Safe-mode, system restore, CTRL-ALT-DELETE all don't work. You cannot access ANYTHING. Even MS-DOS commands to remove the program doesn't work. Even the well-loved Norton Antivirus or Windows Anti-Spyware won't stop this maniac.

If you see the following screen and realised that your computer has been hijacked, I wish you Good Luck.

I skipped happily into Heaven with my robe, staff and new toy.

It's the Pastor's turn. I thought it'll be good to have some company so I waited for him. The pastor stands erect and booms out, "I am Rev. K, pastor of a 20000 member church for the last seventy years!"

Saint Peter consults his PDA once again and says to the pastor, "Take this cotton robe and wooden staff and this 2nd hand Pentium III Desktop enter the Kingdom of Heaven." Just a minute," says the pastor. "That man infront of me got much better stuff than me? How can this be? I think you PDA spoilt lah, sync with your desktop again just to make sure."

Ok. I hardly blog nowadays due to my busy schedule. But I really need to pen this down. To prevent you from becoming a dollar poorer with an interseting encounter.

3rd May, 7pm - Went down to Sim Lim Square after work to get some IT stuff.

7:30pm - While driving out of the carpark, I trailed behind a maroon Mercedes S320. He proceeded to the exit and the ERP-like parking system gantry lifted soon after with the LED screen indicating that his parking fee was $1.20. Strangely enough, he didn't drive straight out but stopped there and sticked his hand out and started pressing the button on the side panel. I figured that he was trying to get a receipt for the parking. 3 mins passed and no receipt came out. Another 2 mins passed and he seemed to be waiting for someone to attend to him. Was getting a bit impatient already. Gave him a friendly honk and before I knew it, the driver of the mercs, a mid 50 uncle came out and walked to my winded-down window.

"Eh! Young man, so impatient for what? ... " I was already pissed enough and he had to add "Your father never teach you how to wait ah?" behind his initial statement.

That did it. I opened my window and said "Damm you! 5 mins already. $1.20 only, driving a Mercs, you don't have money don't drive Mercs lah!" I saw a $1 coin on my dash board area and took it out with the intention to insult him further and shouted "I only drive a Nissan also can give you $1 since you can't afford it. Take it and piss off!"

I was looking for an rebuking answer from him, but to my utmost surprise, HE TOOK THE $1 OUT OF MY HAND, GOT BACK INTO HIS MERCS AND DROVE OFF!

I was left there totally puzzled. WTF???!!!
